Richard Aquilone has 17 years of experience in the residential whole loan market and has purchased in excess of 50 billion in Performing and Non-Performing whole loans in the New York area.

 

Mr. Aquilone has extensive experience in all aspects of loan workouts, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and REO processes. Richard Aquilone is currently employed by Spurs Capital, LLC. Spurs is a fund manager that specializes in investment opportunities in distressed mortgages. Spurs invests in mainly residential assets including 1st liens, 2nd liens, servicing rights and bank foreclosed properties. Spurs currently has 14 professionals and is headquartered in New York, with an additional office in Denver.

Mr. Aquilone serves as Managing Director and oversees all the Sales and Trading. Prior to joining Spurs Capital, LLC, Richard Aquilone was employed by BenAlon Capital Advisors, LP in 2008 and served as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of BAC Distressed Mortgage Partners, LP, located in New York.
